William H. Cole, President and CEO, Baltimore Development Corporation
After more than 20 years in public service, William H. Cole, IV was appointed President and CEO of the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake in August, 2014. BDC, Baltimore City’s economic development agency, is responsible for growing the city by attracting and retaining businesses, expanding job opportunities for city residents, and increasing investment in city neighborhoods.
Twice elected to the Baltimore City Council (2007 and 2011), Bill Cole represented Baltimore City’s 11th district for seven years, resigning to lead the BDC. Cole’s district included the Inner Harbor, Downtown, portions of the Port of Baltimore, and more than a dozen residential neighborhoods throughout south, central, and west Baltimore.
Cole previously served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1998 to 2002 and was Special Assistant to U.S. Representative Elijah E. Cummings from 1996 to 2003. He was the Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement at the University of Baltimore from 2003 until his BDC appointment in 2014. He has chaired the board of Cecil Bank and its holding company, Cecil Bancorp since 2011, and he is active on more than a dozen civic and non-profit boards.

The AIABaltimore/BAF Annual Meeting is a FREE event, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Price-Modern, Inc., but we ask all attendees to make a contribution to the Baltimore Architecture Foundation (BAF) and the Maryland Architects PAC to support efforts to promote and advance architecture and the profession to the public.
Your contribution to the Baltimore Architecture Foundation will support public outreach, education, research, publications, and scholarship programs to promote awareness of Baltimore’s architecture and built environment, and is tax-deductible (as allowed by law).
Founded in 1995, the Maryland Architects PAC works hand-in-hand with AIA Maryland to achieve its legislative goals. The PAC enables member architects to more fully participate in electing and re-electing legislators who understand and support our profession, our livelihood and our issues. We offer heartfelt thanks to the individuals and organizations that provide direct financial support to the PAC. Their dollars give “voice” in promoting the interests of all Maryland architects thereby improving the practice of architecture within the State of Maryland. Without this support, the PAC’s successful activities would not have been possible.

About Price-Modern, Inc.
Technology continuum. Employee engagement. Mobility. Innovation. Employers everywhere are being faced with these issues and more every day. As organizations grow, downsize or are required to change due to emerging technology or new regulations, they often find that their space does not support these changes or foster the culture companies have so carefully cultivated. As a partner to companies facing these challenges, Price Modern has created the Price Modern Playground, a living lab where organizations can explore their work environments, learn what other corporations are doing, and discover environments that best support the way they work.
Limited parking is available in Price-Modern’s lot located behind the building (west), or on the surrounding streets.
