Joseph H. Jones, Jr., Esq., AIA
Victor O. Schinnerer & Company, Inc.
Joe Jones is a risk management attorney and director of Schinnerer’s risk management services. He provides risk management advice to Schinnerer and CNA insureds, serves as editor of Schinnerer’s Proceedings of the Annual Meeting of Invited Attorneys, and is a resource on evolving areas of professional liability exposure for both design professionals and contractors.
A registered architect, Joe practiced architecture for over ten years. Prior to joining Schinnerer, Joe was the Assistant Counsel for the Contract Documents program of The American Institute of Architects. Joe is the author of Risk Management chapter of Architect and Engineer Liability: Claims Against Design Professionals (Aspen 2006) and is a contributing author to the 14th Edition of The Architect’s Handbook of Professional Practice (Wiley, 2008).
Joe served as co-chair for the ABA’s Construction Industry Forum’s 2009 Midwinter meeting and is the past chair of the Forum’s Division 3 – Design.
Joe received his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech and his Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary’s Marshall-Wythe School of Law. Joe’s e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
