Severna Park, MD – As part of  the Anne Arundel County Public Library System’s ongoing mission to serve the community with the best available resources, major renovations to the Severna Park branch have been completed.

Library patrons can now enjoy a variety of technology based improvements, beginning with a touch screen kiosk that grants them access to their individual account information.  Additional technological enhancements include new WiFi bars, public access computer stations, and self-check stations. The main collection space was rejuvenated with the installation of new furniture and finishes, the replacement of outdated light fixtures with specialty lighting, and the replacement of antiquated service counters with more patron friendly units.

Gant Brunnett Architects, in coordination with global architectural and engineering firm AECOM were commissioned with the design and implementation of the project.

The Anne Arundel Library System currently has fifteen locations across the county. The Severna Park branch is one of its most heavily patronized locations.
