RECENT PROJECTS

BALTIMORE CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL, 21ST CENTURY SCHOOL LYNDHURST ELEMENTARY RENOVATION AND ADDITION is a collaboration with STV Group, Inc.

THE BOLTON HILL NURSERY SCHOOL RENOVATION, HKA awarded Maryland Preservation Award from Baltimore Heritage for the 2015 Historic Preservation Award for Adaptive Reuse and Compatible Design from Baltimore Heritage.

RISING GENERATION PRE-SCHOOL BUILDING will be a new 10,000sf construction located in Prince George’s County.

CONTINUED WORK with Johns Hopkins Hospital and The University Of Maryland Medical Center.

LESLIE HARRIS, Owner And Principal of Harris-Kupfer Architects is currently featured in an exhibit at the Birchfield Penney Art Center at SUNY Buffalo State. “Through The Gates,” an exhibit featuring works by Buffalo’s first African American Architect, John E. Brent, features Leslie as an Architect from originally Buffalo, NY.

HKA DESIGNERS– BRIA LEWIS was instrumental with Morgan State University Department of Architecture’s “H2O Zone” installation at Artscape 2015; BRYAN ASSON was awarded  the Future Architects Resources (FAR) Scholars Program at the AIA Baltimore 2015 Design Awards; MICAIAH LATIMORE is actively working on BCPS Lyndhurst Elementary School project and Kappa Youth & Community Center Renovation project.

MARKETING – MARIGAN O’MALLEY assists HKA with a Website Renovation, Firm Profile and Business Development.

Harris-Kupfer Architects, Inc. (HKA) was formed in 2004 as a full service architectural firm. The founding principals have over 40 years of combined experience in a variety of project types. The project types include: Healthcare; Assisted Living; Multi-Family Housing; Commercial; and Green Design projects.  HKA is up to date with current environmental issues related to the building and design industries and can lead a project interested in pursuing LEED certification.
