Baltimore, MD (May 9, 2019) – Due to continued growth in the Baltimore and Northern Virginia region, Wohlsen Construction Company is pleased to welcome Paul Lavanish; senior project manager and Tom Oakes; superintendent.
As senior project manager, Mr. Lavanish is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of Wohlsen’s projects. He has an extensive background in private and government projects, bringing over 22 years of hands on experience in every aspect of project management to his role. Lavanish holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and a Master of Science in Construction Science and Management, both from Clemson University.
Mr. Oakes joins the team as a superintendent. Prior to his career in construction, Oakes served in the United States Navy for 12 years. Since then, he has gained 16 years of experience in construction overseeing numerous projects throughout the Northern Virginia region. He will be responsible for managing and directing all field efforts on his assigned projects including managing the construction process, working with subcontractors, and ensuring safe and timely project completion.
