Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects Awards Four Promotions [Press Release]

 

MURPHY & DITTENHAFER ARCHITECTS ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF RYAN SHANK TO ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL
BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore-based Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects announces the promotion of Ryan J. Shank, AIA to Associate Principal. A graduate of Drexel University, Shank serves on The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Pennsylvania Board of Directors representing AIA Central Pennsylvania. Shank is responsible for Murphy & Dittenhafer’s recognition as an AIA EPiC Firm (a firm engaging and fostering Emerging Professionals), receiving the honor each of the four years it has been presented to date. Ryan Shank has managed M&D projects at Harrisburg Area Community College’s York and Gettysburg Campuses; for Saint Paul Lutheran Church in York; for the Harford County, Maryland Sheriff’s Department in Bel Air as well as multiple projects for Frederick County, Maryland. Employed with Murphy & Dittenhafer for seven years, Shank actively supports United Way of York County as Murphy & Dittenhafer’s Annual Campaign Coordinator.

MURPHY & DITTENHAFER ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF KYLE GIUMENTO TO ASSOCIATE
BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore-based Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects announces the promotion of Kyle Giumento, Associate AIA to Associate.  A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic and State University, Giumento has completed extensive work on multiple K-12 Public School renovations for Baltimore County Public Schools.  He is the Project Manager for several current Maryland-based projects, including St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore and Baltimore County  Department of Recreation and Parks. Giumento joined Murphy & Dittenhafer in 2016.

MURPHY & DITTENHAFER ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF REBECCA McCORMICK TO ASSOCIATE
BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore-based Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects announces the promotion of Rebecca L. McCormick, AIA to Associate. McCormick holds a Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University and joined Murphy & Dittenhafer in 2017. McCormick was Project Manager for the recently completed Additions to the Southern York YMCA and is Project Manager for several Maryland-based projects for clients such as Maryland State Boychoir and Frederick Community College. A Historic Preservation Resources Expert, McCormick is a member of the Murphy & Dittenhafer team currently planning renovations to offices within the Baltimore County Historic Courthouse in Towson, Maryland.

MURPHY & DITTENHAFER ARCHITECTS ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF PETER COLELLO TO ASSOCIATE
BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore-based Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects announces the promotion of Peter J. Colello, AIA to Associate. A graduate of Temple University, Colello is a licensed Architect and joined Murphy & Dittenhafer in 2017. Colello has completed extensive architectural design and construction documentation work for M&D on the historic Forum Building and as well as the Governor’s Residence – both in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and on projects for the Maryland Stadium Authority in Annapolis, Maryland. He is the project manager for current Murphy & Dittenhafer projects for two area non-profit organizations – the York County Literacy Council in York, Pennsylvania and for Medard’s House in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
