Brief Summary of Job Duties
A successful applicant must have the commitment to advancing the mission of SA+P and Morgan State University and must demonstrate the strong potential for first-hand research. The candidate’s research focus will be expected to align, generally, with the assigned areas of instruction. Successful candidate must be able to teach advanced architectural design studios as well as courses in one or more of the following areas in the graduate program:
- Digital Design
- Building Technology and Structures
- Environmental design and Climate Change
Requested Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate must have achieved a Ph.D. Degree or Professional Licensure in Architecture from an accredited College or University. A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience and a MARCH Degree is required.
Candidates should have a record of publications, conference presentations, creative work, or other activities that have built a notable reputation among peers.
Candidates must also have a demonstrated ability to work with colleagues in a collaborative environment and relate to a diverse student population.
