Further Details:

ACE Annapolis is holding a Fundraising and Networking event on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Chaney Enterprises & Reliable Contracting’s Offices in Gambrills, Maryland.  Anne Arundel County Executive Steve Schuh will be in attendance as we award scholarships to local high school students to study Architecture, Construction and Engineering.

Founded in the spring of 2007, ACE Annapolis began as a way to show area high school students the breadth of career opportunities available to them in the fields of architecture, engineering and construction. Meeting from October to May, with mentors drawn from leading area firms, the students work on projects that demonstrate key principles and techniques used in the building industry. Field trips to major construction projects, such as Anne Arundel Medical Center and the International Masonry Institute (IMI), give students a behind-the-scenes look at how those principles and techniques are employed in real-world settings. Mentoring provided by local industry professionals.

ACE Annapolis serves: Annapolis High School, South River High School, Glen Burnie High School and North County High School.
