AIAS Liaison

Fatoumata Thiero is an Honor fourth-year student in the School of Architecture & Environmental Design at Morgan State University.

Fatoumata Thiero served as the treasurer of Morgan State University AIAS chapter during the 2020/2021 academic years. She also served as the Vice-president of Event in NSCS (National Society of Collegiate Scholars). She is the current president of AIAS Morgan State University. Leader by nature, she mentored during previous years (2019-2022) and participated in a design charrette with Gensler Baltimore. One of her goals is to give back to communities that need assistance through design and make sure we live in a sustainable environment. Although her ultimate goal is to become a licensed architect and design internationally, her main focus  is the  development of Africa where she is from originally.
