Architecture of Guilford Walking Tour

Join Ann Giroux, architectural historian, and former Guilford resident, for a 90-minute walking tour of Baltimore’s historic Guilford neighborhood. The tour will focus on the Roland Park Company’s architectural program and the Olmsted Brothers’ landscape plan for this early streetcar suburb. The tour will include a stop at Sherwood Gardens, a natural respite in Baltimore City for over 100 years. The gardens are privately supported and rely on visitors’ generosity to keep them in bloom yearly for everyone to enjoy. A portion of each ticket sale will go towards the upkeep of this beautiful garden space.

While not a strenuous walk, this walking tour is suitable for active walkers due to the duration.
