About our presentation

Forty Years ago, the historic Windy Gales Mansion and surrounding land off of West Lake Avenue was converted into the Devon Hill Condominium and residential community. Rather than level the building and clear the area, the Azola Companies that did the redevelopment saved the historic mansion, as well the carriage house and barns. They even preserved much of the wonderful landscape and gardens that were first created by the Olmsted firm over one hundred years ago. Join Mr. Thom Rinker, Devon Hill resident and author the book about his community, and Mr. Marty Azola, who led the development of Devon Hill and the preservation of its history, to learn about this wonderful place and equally wonderful redevelopment project.
