DESCRIPTION:Please join the Greater Baltimore Committee for a panel discussion on current transportation and infrastructure policies and programs. \nPanelists: \n\nSenator Ben Cardin\, Chair of the Senate Environment and Public Works Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure — Cardin will discuss President Biden’s infrastructure package.\nSecretary Greg Slater\, Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) — Slater will discuss potential programs that could qualify for funding in the state and region\, including highways\, bridges\, transit\, airport and ports.\nDirector Kenrick “Rick” M. Gordon\, head of Maryland’s Office of Statewide Broadband — Gordon will discuss all the potential investments and/or plans for investments for broadband using state and federal dollars.\n\nA question-and-answer session will follow the discussion.
