Architect Biographies

The Baltimore Architecture Foundation provides and supports research on Maryland’s architects.

The BAF formed a committee called the Dead Architects Society to conduct much of its own research, at first focusing on the 15 architects and 3 engineers who founded the Baltimore Chapter, AIA, in 1870-71. That work has now expanded through the 20th century and resulted in several publications.
